Advantages: Great for impovment, good forgiving face. Disadvantages: Hevier than graphite shafted clubs.
Mizuno MX-23 irons. Steel shafted (like all the pros use now) and a great impovement club.
I got a set of these for christmas, I had a handicap of 28. Now after using these clubs for less than half a year my handicap has dramaticly changed by 10 i now play off 18.
At first they took a big of getting used to compared to my old irons but soon the face hardened up and they went super! In winter weather they hold there own against cold and wet. As ... ...because they are quite forgiving and have a large sweet spot on the face. The first thing i noticed when I bought them was the grips. Very nice grips that make it easy to line up the ball to the club face. Another great thing obout these clubs is that they were a real bargin. I got mine from my pro shop brand new, im glad i did. ...
