I play U/W Hockey and have replaced my beloved ALA fins with the V6. IMHO, these are the fastest fins you can buy.
When you first try them, you think they have no power at all but try timing yourself over 25 or 50m against your favourite fins.
For the record, I have done this with Mares Planar Avanti, ALAs and some extra long free-diving fins. I used to be fastest with the ALAs but the V6s have the edge.
The only disadvantage for me is that they are strongly curved downwards so are not so good for standing around in the pool which I do a lot as I'm a SCUBA instructor. ...
