I bought one of these after the birth of my first child, it cost £89.99, but I think they are cheaper now.
It comes neatly packed in its own case. You get a control panel, mains adaptor plus ten pads and wires (five pairs). You also get a tube of gel and elastic straps to hold the pads on.
You put the gel on the pads to help conduct the electricity. Then you place the ... ...toning, strapping them on with the elastic. The wires on the pads are then plugged into the control unit and you turn them on. Each pair of pads have their own control switch. Make sure when you start off you use the lowest setting as the electric contractions can be quite strong and really hurt if too high! You can use any amount of pads, but they must be used in pairs. Advantages: No conscious effort from the user! A good supplement to old fashioned exercise Disadvantages: No cardio benefit, no real exercise involved unless opening the box counts!

Advantages: Very cheap to buy, Works great! Disadvantages: Looks a bit cheap, only a small pot of gel included
...the same technology as the rio belt but a fraction of the cost. Sceptical as i am, i saw this product advertised on TV, they showed people using this belt that contracts your muscles and then relaxes them, without any effort on your behalf, now i could see that as the ladies and gents in the commercial were using it their stomach muscles were really contracting hard, i thought they were putting it on, how i was wrong.
So a few months after seeing ... ...had signed up on ebay. There it was, on the featured list, the abgymnic muscle toning belt... £6.50 inc P+P? I thought 'no way, they were selling them on the TV for £20' but it was true so i decided to order one, well six pounds how could i posibly lose out?

Rio Slim Gym Slim You i hear you say, yes this could be you with determination and commitment. My friend kept rabbiting on about this product she had bought you would swear she was on commision. After she had fetched it over and electrocuted the family we were so impressed we went out and bought one it cost us £99.99.Alot of money? not if you use it as you will feel the result's even if you cant see them. It comes in it's own little carry-case so ... ...gel on the 10 pad's that you strap to different muscles of your body which you want to firm up, if you send off for more gel it can be quite pricey, i bought one of the botanical gel's in Boot's which does do the same thing all you need is to conduct the pad's with the electricity. Don't be put of by the thought of plugging yourself into the Mians with a set of 10 wets electrical pads. It may sound dangerous but actually it is very easy, safe and does work very well. You have to make sure that the place the pads over specific muscle groups ie the abdomen, and you have to ake sure that the accompanying straps are quite tight, but after that you can sit back and the sytem does all the work for you.
