Advantages results are visible
Disadvantages you still have to live a healthy lifestyle

Last year as I have wrote in other reviews, I became abs obsessed, so when I heard about Slendertone I was firstly a little doubtful about how well it would work and then, after hearing about a few of my friends who use it and love it, I figured I might as well give it a go. I bought my Slendertone belt for around £90 in Argos and decided on this particular one because it came with rechargeable batteries and I really hate having to always buy new batteries for things, and also because the results from this particular belt are apparently more effective. I purchased a slendertone belt quite a while ago and have been using this product on & off for quite a while now.At first I found the 'sensation' it gives off a little offputting- you can actually feel your muscles contracting but after a little while I got used to it and continued to use it for about 2 weeks. I have always been one of those firm believers that physical exercise is the only way to tone and lose weight coming from a family of runners. Hence when I was approached to try the Slendertone Ab Belt I was sceptical. The first week was strange and it appeared a little daunting with the gel pads and battery pack. Slendertone Abs Toning Belt really works!! 22/11/2009

I bought this Abs system as an upgrade from the Flex belt I bought a few years ago. This system is such an improvement in the fact that if you are already pretty toned you can go on a programme for maximum strength to really get maximum results. It can be adapted using the strength controls for any type of user, experienced or not. When used whilst doing exercise, for example, walking you can feel it works even more. Disadvantages battery does not last long

Slendertone is easy to use and does not have to be on for long periods of time. I believe that it makes a difference although you wont see changes over night. I use slendertone when i am cooking the kids their tea. It can be worn under clothes so very discreet. it is very easy to wear. The battery is chagable and doesnt seem to last long but does not take long to charge up. You must remember that this does not replace healthy eating but after a couple of weeks you will really be able to tell and see the difference. Advantages Biggest advantage is ease of use, it's easy to fit into your daily routine.
Disadvantages Whilst not negative, it is quite a strange sensation. Also need to keep replacing the pads.

I was excited to try the Slendertone ab product as I find traditional stomach exercises quite stressful on my back and neck. I was also looking for a 'quick fix' solution to toning up my abs. One of the biggest benefits is the ease of use of the product, once you have this on you are free to do whatever else you need to. I made this part of my daily 'getting ready for work' routine and had to remind myself some days to give my muscles a rest. I’ve never used an electronic muscle toning system before and the first time I used Slendertone’s System Abs I found the sensation very strange, I didn’t actually expect to feel it working at all. I soon got used to it and when the 20 minutes was up and the machine beeped I had forgotten all about it. The next day I could already feel a difference, my abs definitely felt as if they’d had a bit of a workout.
