...but i have used the Spyder pilot ACS 05 many times! I used this gun (borrowed off my friend) about 7months ago while my smartparts ion (a very popular tournament standard gun) was being fixed. What can i say.... most people who have owned one say they loved it but not me i only just liked it :( I have had alot of experience with paintball guns (check out my other reviews!!) heres the following i have used and owned:
smartparts guns (ion, impulse, ... ...average compared to the other spyder guns. The barrel suppied with the marker is 12 inches which is the average length of stock barrels. This barrel looks good but dont let it decieve you, the performance lets down the looks. I would highly recommend buying a better barrel for this gun if you buy it (get an ion instead!!!!!!!!!). Nothing much to say about accuracy apart from it being average to the lower price markers.

I purchased this paintball marker as my first paintball marker in 2005. Reading the manufactorer's description makes this marker seem like a dream machine. However the reality is much different. Marker features:
Electronic grip frame which can surpass 8balls per second(bps)
Double trigger allowing for enhanced rate of fire(ROF)
Aluminum construction
Pull pin bolt for ease of maintenece and field stripping.
Expansion champer for extra C02 efficiency.
... ...maxium rate of fire(ROF).
Drop forward bottomline for ease of tank mounting.
Rubber finger detent.
My first experience using the JTe 3.5. was a good one. My setup contained of the JTe 3.5 marker, a 20oz C02 tank and a VL revolution electronic hopper. I bought a Spyder e99 Avant about 3 years ago to use for weekend paintball trips. It has an electronic grip frame with 3 functions; semi-automatic, 3-shot burst and full auto. Most paintball sites will only allow you to use the semi-automatic mode, which is sensible given how fast you'd get through paint on either of the other settings!
The e99 is quite light and is very simply made, making maintenance easy even during the middle of a game. The ... ...make removing broken paintballs a quick job. The stock barrel isn't very high quality, but most buyers would replace this on all but very high-end guns anyway. A good marker for the occasional recreational player or a beginner due to its easy maintenance, robust construction and low cost. ...

Advantages: Easy to maintain, cheap, and good starter marker. Disadvantages: Stock barrel has much to be desired.
Spyder Xtra is one of Kingman's top of the range mechanical markers. The default trigger is mechanical but you are still able to get a rate of 5-6bps out of this marker.
By default the Xtra comes with a drop forward, expansion chamber, rear cocking, field stripable bolt, vertical loading. All them extra features which are nice for a cheap CO2 driven marker.
Excellent to handle, easy to maintain (a advantage with all blowback markers). I recommend ... ...end markers, but for the Spyder range of markers they are like optional features. Problems with the Spyder Xtra:
We have 2 Spyder Xtras here, one works perfectly but one is in a slight state of disrepair and tends to chop balls every so often. So a main problem you could say is if the maintance is not kept up to date then it will cause problems.
Also another problem is all markers arn't the same. One marker has a sticky safety button, while the ...
