Its a spyder but it doesnt have 8 legs!!

Advantages: Quite cheap, reliable, c02 can be used, maintanence
Disadvantages: Ugly, heavy, loud, manufacturing, speed, size

...but i have used the Spyder pilot ACS 05 many times! I used this gun (borrowed off my friend) about 7months ago while my smartparts ion (a very popular tournament standard gun) was being fixed. What can i say.... most people who have owned one say they loved it but not me i only just liked it :( I have had alot of experience with paintball guns (check out my other reviews!!) heres the following i have used and owned: smartparts guns (ion, impulse, ...
...average compared to the other spyder guns. The barrel suppied with the marker is 12 inches which is the average length of stock barrels. This barrel looks good but dont let it decieve you, the performance lets down the looks. I would highly recommend buying a better barrel for this gun if you buy it (get an ion instead!!!!!!!!!). Nothing much to say about accuracy apart from it being average to the lower price markers. Noise: This marker is very ...

Kingman's Spyder Imagine Digital LED

Advantages: Durable, ease to use, affordable, easy to upgrade
Disadvantages: Minor flaws in craftmanship

...Other notes: This Spyder has an aluminum stock 9 inch barrel as well as aluminum framed double trigger guard. You will also find that the velocity adjuster has a tournament lock with it. The vertical feed neck is designed to prevent double feeding. The marker is extremely easy to field clean with an easy to remove pin. Personal Impressions The first time I took out the Imagine Digital LED was to play a couple hours of woodsball. I donned my black ...
...about 100 rounds through the Spyder and started to get a more consistent range of 265-287 fps. I chalk up the inconsistency to using a CO2 tank on a 50 degree day. As the temperature came up the marker started firing more regular chronos. The accuracy of the stock barrel is about average of a entry level marker which is not saying much. I was getting spreads of well over 15 feet at 50 yards. I was shooting cheap paint ( and a season old). I had already ...

Review for the JT 3.5e Excellerator spyder clone

Advantages: Cheap, ease of maintence, many available upgrades.
Disadvantages: Loud, slow rate of fire, relatively inefficient with air, heavy

I purchased this paintball marker as my first paintball marker in 2005. Reading the manufactorer's description makes this marker seem like a dream machine. However the reality is much different. Marker features: Electronic grip frame which can surpass 8balls per second(bps) Double trigger allowing for enhanced rate of fire(ROF) Aluminum construction Pull pin bolt for ease of maintenece and field stripping. Expansion champer for extra C02 efficiency. ...
...maxium rate of fire(ROF). Drop forward bottomline for ease of tank mounting. Rubber finger detent. My first experience using the JTe 3.5. was a good one. My setup contained of the JTe 3.5 marker, a 20oz C02 tank and a VL revolution electronic hopper. The marker chronoed reasonably consistantly at around a +-10 foot per second. This was quite good considering the marker was running a C02. With an agitated electronic hopper you can easily break ...

Spyder e99 Avant

Advantages: Cheap to buy, very easy to maintain, electronic grip frame
Disadvantages: Not the best quality, lack of accuracy and rate of fire

I bought a Spyder e99 Avant about 3 years ago to use for weekend paintball trips. It has an electronic grip frame with 3 functions; semi-automatic, 3-shot burst and full auto. Most paintball sites will only allow you to use the semi-automatic mode, which is sensible given how fast you'd get through paint on either of the other settings! The e99 is quite light and is very simply made, making maintenance easy even during the middle of a game. The ...
...make removing broken paintballs a quick job. The stock barrel isn't very high quality, but most buyers would replace this on all but very high-end guns anyway. A good marker for the occasional recreational player or a beginner due to its easy maintenance, robust construction and low cost. ...

Spyder Xtra

Advantages: Easy to maintain, cheap, and good starter marker.
Disadvantages: Stock barrel has much to be desired.

Spyder Xtra is one of Kingman's top of the range mechanical markers. The default trigger is mechanical but you are still able to get a rate of 5-6bps out of this marker. By default the Xtra comes with a drop forward, expansion chamber, rear cocking, field stripable bolt, vertical loading. All them extra features which are nice for a cheap CO2 driven marker. Excellent to handle, easy to maintain (a advantage with all blowback markers). I recommend ...
...end markers, but for the Spyder range of markers they are like optional features. Problems with the Spyder Xtra: We have 2 Spyder Xtras here, one works perfectly but one is in a slight state of disrepair and tends to chop balls every so often. So a main problem you could say is if the maintance is not kept up to date then it will cause problems. Also another problem is all markers arn't the same. One marker has a sticky safety button, while the ...

Kingman Spyders

Advantages: Very good variety to choose from.
Disadvantages: Some markers can be pricy.

...markers to choose. To start, the Spyder MR-1, MR-2, and MR-3 are great markers for the rugged paintball player who likes to have the feel of a real gun in their hands. The MR series is great for some minor upgrades and definite durability. Some might prefer the fast-paced speedball paintball, in which the VS series will be of much use. The VS-1, VS-2 and VS-3 are some of the most accurate and fast paintball guns to date. Also for speedball is the ...
