Orbitrek, worth the money or just a fad..

Advantages: Zero impact, cardio, muscular, cheap, best workout ever!
Disadvantages: Its a hard workout!!

Having been a member of gyms for many years the time came for me to go to university which meant that I couldn't afford a gym membership, so I started to look for a machine that I could buy to use in my own home. As anyone else does I looked at treadmills, bikes and rowers but the quality of them for the money I was looking to spend (£100) was not good enough for my liking. Advantages: No impact ; good for aerobic work ; no spinal aggravation caused by sitting ;
Disadvantages: Heavy & large ; not silent ; fan doesn't keep you cool ; harsh on sore knees

Have you seen the TV ads for the wonder-machine called the Orbitrek? I had, and wondered if it was worth the money. I did an Internet search but could only find people selling the thing - hardly the best ones to give an honest opinion. We eventually got one a couple of months ago.
