Advantages: Fantastic looks, great forgiveness, good distance Disadvantages: Not suitable for beginners or the very low handicaps?
...I was taken by some Wilson clubs and I must admit I find many of their clubs fantastic to look at and the Pi5 are no exception! In the Wilson Staff series there are various degrees of golf club in terms of the standard of player the clubs are aimed at. This begins with the new Di7 model (Distance irons with a larger sole to reduce the effects of off-centre hits) which is the most forgiving. Next is another new model, the Ci6 which is aimed at mid-handicappers; ... ...Personally I believe the entire Wilson Staff range to be beautiful golf clubs.
I believe that a statement of just how good these irons are is the fact that tour players Padraig Harrington and Jesper Parnevik choose to play them over the more advanced clubs in the range!
In terms of technical detail the Pi5 is very strong too. As previously mentioned the sole width alters the harder the club is to hit. Also the heads feature thinner top lines than ...
