    The clubs I am talking about are regular steel shafted. The marketing line when I bought these clubs two years ago was that the fat shaft reduced the "twist" of the clubhead on mishit shots and so resulted in a straighter shot. Good marketing line. As I'm sure you all know there is no miracle cure in golf and so you can still hit bad shots with these clubs. Having said that, I would recommend these clubs. The main difference I found with the FS irons against my previous set (Maxfli VHL) was the distance I hit the mid and especially short irons. There was really no difference up to 5 iron ... more
