...that most people have used Woof brushing boots, which are also known as Club boots. Although they don't look like anything special they are actually very good. When I brought my own horse, I automatically brought these boots because they had been recommended to me so many times. These boots are designed for general riding, so they are perfect for hacking, schooling, jumping, lunging etc. However they are not tough enough to provide protection on ... ...sizes which are size 1, 2 and 3. As a rule go for one size for the front legs and the next size up for the back legs. The boots are quite stiff to put on when they are new, but this gets better when they have been worn for a few times. My horse brushes quite badly with her back legs so I have to use boots each time she is ridden. I think that these boots lasted really well. I had to replace the back boots after about 2 and a half years as the PVC ...

Advantages: Very hard wearing, cheap, colourful Disadvantages: Strap colour faded a little
I was given a pair of these boots because my yard owner sold her horse. I didn't know what to expect with them, and tried them out on my own horses as soon as I could. I used them first for lunging, and they worked very well. The boots were brand new, and were a little stiff at first but soon softened and moulded to my gelding's legs. The velcro is very strong, and the boots stay in place. I've used these boots almost every day for the last three ... ...a little on the straps, but the stiching is still in great condition. They're easy to wash- I throw them in the washer on a cool wash and they come out looking like new. I've used these boots for pretty much everything, including cross country. I feel that they offer good all round protection, but maybe aren't tough enough for cross country on a young horse, or one who isn't careful. They stay in place very well.
