Advantages: comfortable and good to ride in
Disadvantages: zip broke so not very durable

I have a pair of these boot and there are many positives about them but one big negative. Positives 1. Very comfortable from the start no rubbing at all 2. Look smart 3. Easy to put on as have zip 4. Plenty of room for wooly socky and enough room for wearing with jeans 5. Reasonable price for leather boots 6. Comfortable for riding and yard work 7. ...riding and occasional yard work so not alot of heavy duty use. I love these boots so much I took them to the shoe menders and they said it would cost £60 to mend the zip. Luckily I have managed salvage them as fray was near the bottom of the boot and I could stitch the boot shut and still get my foot in and out without having to unstitch it and it stopped the zip riding up and the boot coming undone. ...can buy the wax from barbour outlets and some equestrian shops - it costs about £5 for a tin which will last several years - be warned you do not need to put much wax on the jacket overwaxing will make it sticky. They are good for walking and riding and you can get them in different lengths including the one that goes down to your feet for the real outdoors in all weather person. Advantages: Stylish PAS & EN standards
Disadvantages: expensive has cheap look-a-likes

This hat meets the EN1384 and the PAS 015 standards so this means it is classed as safe and you could wear it at riding schools etc. For £80-100 i wasn't overly impressed as i didnt think it was anything too special and didnt differ from my hat thats 1/2 the price! ...apart from the champion it is nearly identical to my less than 1/2 price version. The only thing i did prefer about this hat over mine was the chin strap that was very cushioned and i really liked that. You can adjust the harness at the back of the hat as it is on a drawstring design so it does enable variations between riders. Loveson are a brand that make riding boots and it is possible to buy long or short boots made by Loveson depending on the choice of the individual. ...the same. I bought loveson short leather jodhpur boots which I was pleased with. There are pros and cons to having short and long boots. What I tend to do now is walk around the yard in my short boots, muck and and then when I ride just put on my chaps with the short boots.
