indestructible jacket
Advantages: tough and waterproof Disadvantages: not very cool
...can buy the wax from barbour outlets and some equestrian shops - it costs about £5 for a tin which will last several years - be warned you do not need to put much wax on the jacket overwaxing will make it sticky.
They are good for walking and riding and you can get them in different lengths including the one that goes down to your feet for the real outdoors in all weather person.
The only downside to them is that they are not that smart and you ...

Mountain Horse Sportive High Rider
Advantages: Comfortable & Durable Disadvantages: None
I have been wearing Mountain Horse boots for years now including the ever popular 'Cheetah' boot.
I have always ridden in a pair of long leather boots and normally the zips have either gone on them or the stitching which is quite frankly damn annoying!
When I bought another horse about 2 years ago I decided to treat myself to a new pair of long leather boots but something which is a bit more durable and hardwearing. I dont know why I never thought ... ...boots are quite chunky.
Anyway Mountain Horse hadnt had the Sportive High Rider out for long and I had a look and went into my local saddlers to try them to see what they were like, I was smitten. They were so comortable and fitted really well, I have slim legs and normally I get a gap at the back of the boot but not with these!
Two years on and I still have the same pair I bought. Allbeit they were a bit worn but I have kept them in great condition ...

My favourite riding boots, Harry Hall Faro.
Advantages: Comfortable. Disadvantages: Sole coming away.
...I have had some Harry Hall Faro riding boots for about 18 months now and I have round them really comfortable to ride in. I use them most of the time. Harry Hall Ladies Faro Boots.

I bought mine cheaper from Ebay. I have just seen them on equestrianclearance which is a website that I look at sometimes for bargains. The boots are £71.99 on there.

The boots look good. They are leather but not shiney leather. The vibram sole unit is quite thick almost like a wellington boot sole, though it ...

The long and the short of it.
Advantages: Nice lining and looked smart. Disadvantages: Lining didn`t last long.
Loveson are a brand that make riding boots and it is possible to buy long or short boots made by Loveson depending on the choice of the individual. The boots that I am reviewing today are long rubber boots. They were the first pair that I bought when I first got my horse.
The boots that I bought were Loveson Grantham and they are leather look PVC. They had a red lining and removable inner sole. I thought they appeared good quality compared with ... ...the same. I bought loveson short leather jodhpur boots which I was pleased with.
There are pros and cons to having short and long boots. What I tend to do now is walk around the yard in my short boots, muck and and then when I ride just put on my chaps with the short boots. I prefer to ride in separate boots and chaps or gaiters as they are less restrictive, easier to put your heel down. I have leather boots and gaiters for shows, they look like ...

Kan body protector
Advantages: Safety, Breathability, Style Disadvantages: None so far
I recently decided to buy a new body protector and had been drawn to the new Kan moulded protector because a couple of girls at my riding club have been raving about this product. I called Kan Tec to ask about it and was really impressed by the technicalities and safety features, also they said they could recommend my size easily and just asked for my dress size and height - so I bought one online and was surprised that it fitted brilliantly and ...
