I have been wearing Mountain Horse boots for years now including the ever popular 'Cheetah' boot. I have always ridden in a pair of long leather boots and normally the zips have either gone on them or the stitching which is quite frankly damn annoying! Harry hall ladies faro boots great

These boots were my best leather riding boots so far. I bought the first pair 4 years ago in Devon and I they lasted me 3 years. I wear them about 4 times a week. They have a nice long leg, stay up and last very well. The tread is not very heavy, good in the stirrup but a bit slippery on wet grass. Just Chaps won me over. Come up like new every time.

Advantages: Great design and value. Best of all they wash in the machine - no oiling or scrubbing!
Disadvantages: NONE

They have survived sweat, salt water (from the sea) and mud to come up like new every time I have chucked them in the washing machine. Review of Just Chaps Hi-Vis

harry hall dry riders disappointing to me

Disadvantages: cumbersome, leaked, not sure grip

I don't know if I was unlucky, but my pair leaked at the knee after 3 uses. I found them very cumbersome to wear, I didn't really want to walk in them (I know they are for riding but once you are out in the wet you might as well catch your horse in them).
