Advantages: Good looks, great price, great overall performance. Disadvantages: Only available in one size (8.5 UK).
Last year (2000) Salomon announced the release of two new skates, the ST90 and the ST80. For some reason Salomon decided to scrap production of the ST80 and released the ST70 (a cheaper model) instead. Last summer Salomon decided to sell off all of there sample models of the ST80 so now these samples are available.
Since these are sample skates they were only ever made in one size (uk 8.5) so if this size is too large or too small for you then forget about buying these skates as riding wrongly sized skates can be detrimental to the health of your feet.
Out of the box these skates look amazing. The cool blue-grey colour used for the boot is definitely the most aesthetically pleasing of on any of the recent Salomon skates. This is highlighted by the white frame which gives the skates a very clean, stylish appearance.

Advantages: great tricks Disadvantages: too similar to wave race
The Wave Race 64 team is at it again, and this time its on the snow slopes. Miyamoto took the genious design team possibly made the best N64 racer, and exchanged the Kawasaki Jet-Ski’s for Lamar Snow boards.

Miyamoto and the design team did obtain new licenses for this wintry racing game. As mentioned, Nintendo signed on Lamar to provide models of their Snow boards for use in the game (my favorite being the Tahoe 155). Not only did they manage to obtain usage of the snowboards, but they acquired rights for Tommy Hilfiger clothing! Each racer has their own Tommy Gear outfits that will brighten up the TV set during your races ...
Advantages: Great picture quality Disadvantages: Owners manual is supplied on a CD
together!
Due to the various sources the picture resolution is different between them
The Virgin Media connection is SCART, this is 576i
The SONY Playstation also connected on SCART, this is 480i
Both of these have very good picture quality, although the TV pictures do often suffer from pixelation but that is due to the source pictures and not the TV
The TV then allows each source to be setup on its own
In the above I have the Virgin Media setup for CINEMA and the Plastation for GAME
These are standard settings and work quite well
The computer is connected on RGB, also setup on GAME
The DVD system is connected on HDMI, this allows 1080p although personally I can't see any difference from the previous DVD system which was also using 576i
The TV offers Energy Saving
This is inappropriate when watching TV programmes or films, so I ...
