Advantages: Good looks, great price, great overall performance. Disadvantages: Only available in one size (8.5 UK).
Last year (2000) Salomon announced the release of two new skates, the ST90 and the ST80. For some reason Salomon decided to scrap production of the ST80 and released the ST70 (a cheaper model) instead. Last summer Salomon decided to sell off all of there sample models of the ST80 so now these samples are available.
Since these are sample skates they were only ever made in one size (uk 8.5) so if this size is too large or too small for you then forget about buying these skates as riding wrongly sized skates can be detrimental to the health of your feet.
Out of the box these skates look amazing. The cool blue-grey colour used for the boot is definitely the most aesthetically pleasing of on any of the recent Salomon skates. This is highlighted by the white frame which gives the skates a very clean, stylish appearance.

Advantages: Small, Compact, Lightweight, Affordable. Disadvantages: Get's a bit hot when cooking.

The Adventure Cookset can be purchased with or without the burner. With the burner the set costs £19.99, without it costs £14.99. Both available through millets at these prices. Which I think is a bargain! If you want to use the cookset as a means of cooking, you definitely need to purchase the set with the burner. However if you are looking to purchase extra cookware for your camping holidays and want it cheaply then the set without the burner is a cheap way of doing this.
Once all of the pots and pans have been removed from themselves, the set fits together very easily. The base with the air holes in is placed on the floor. This has a large diameter so gives a stable surface on which to cook. The windsheild then slots on to this to protect the burner from the wind. The burner itself sits in the centre of the base ...
Advantages: Comfortable, versatile, economic. Good resale values. Disadvantages: Lack of boot space. It's STILL a diesel!
-powered cars. I prefer the extra ?oomph? you get with a petrol engine, and am quite happy to pay the extra cost of the fuel in order to achieve this.
But I have to admit that of all the diesel cars I have driven the Ford Focus has to be one of the best. You still get that slightly tractor-like growl when you first start it up, and the engine noise is fairly harsh for the first few miles until the engine warms up and reaches its optimum running temperature. But after that you would be hard pushed to even realise that it was an ?oil burner? you were driving.
Even on a French motorway at speeds in excess of 100mph (OK, I know!) you could hold a conversation with ease without shouting at each other the engine noise was so unobtrusive. Also, the wind noise from the doors and windows was practically non-existent.
