Salomon Perf. Course 9.0 Axe

Advantages: A classic game with simple but effective storylines and actions
Disadvantages: Some claim it was too easy

...This game was released back in 91 and was a sequel to the highly rated Golden Axe. Having not played the previous version i was bought this version as a youngster and for a while was probably my favourite game on the mega drive. The story is very basic, you are tasked with retaining the golden axe from the dark guld, who you will meet at the end of the game. The game is quite a simple side scrolling hack em up beat em up set in fantasy medieval times where at the end of each level you met an end boss and battled til the death. Simple but effective! You could take control of one of three characters, a dwarf wielding a massive axe (well for his size anyway) called Gilius Thunderhead, a male barbarian type who used a sword but was named Ax Battler and a female character called Tyris Flare who also used a sword. Advantages: good game, not bad graphics

...This review is about the classic game Golden Axe. I will give as much information about it as I can. This game is like streets of rage (check out my review on it) but the game is set in the olden times, where you fight monsters, stone men with clubs, dragons and all sorts. Golden Axe is a classic game that no one will ever forget, like Sonic. I have Golden Axe on a ROM, and I play it a lot of times. In Golden Axe, you can move up and down on the area you are in, you will have stone men type people come and attack you, you will have to defeat all the enemies that come to you so you can proceed to the next area, when you have defeated all the enemies in that area, or think you have, then an arrow will pop up pointing in the direction you need to go. You will have to fight a different boss each time you are at the end of a level... Read review

Advantages: So many courses!
Disadvantages: You've got to motivate yourself!

...BSY offers over 250 courses for anyone to undertake at home (though some do require a final examination in a particular place). When I decided to get my life in order I looked for the cheapest and best place to do Pet Psychology and BSY won, so I rang them up and the really nice lady offered me a 2 for 1 deal and I'm now doing Holistic Animal Healing also. Now, I'm not the most motivated person in the world - bear in mind I started this in Jan 2006! Anyway, I've finally sent off my final examinations and hopefully I'll receive qualifications soon. Everything I received and needed for the course was sent through the post with envelopes to send it back once completed. I get to keep all the course materials too. I know that different courses require you to purchase your own equipment and take exams so I can only comment on the 2 above... Read review
