This wheel comes extremely well packaged and may take you a few mintues to actually get into it but atleast this lends assurance that it will transport well when it was shipped. The packages comes in 3 separate parts: >Wheel >Pedals >Table attachement WHEEL: The wheel itself is covered in a highly durable rubber covering making it very easy to keep a grip on it, which is an important feature if like me yours hands can sweat in the middle of an intense race. The wheel also has all the buttons you would find on a normal controller and they are all intuitively placed. The X,Y, A,B buttons are placed in easy reach of the thumb so when driving they are easy reachablt. Polished skating experience...

Advantages: Really well thought-out learning curve, great fun to play
Disadvantages: Controls are sometimes a little tricky

the game throws at you. In the main this works really well. Initial frustration with the controls quickly gives way to a level of proficiency that allows you to blag your way through most events, and before you know it you?ll be ogling replays of your death-defying air and mind-blowing tricks ? all in beautiful high definition, of course. Other highlights include an awesome soundtrack, a large and varied environment to explore (a whole city, in fact), some nice humorous touches and some helpful shortcuts (you can navigate the city by subway if you can?t be bothered to skate to a location). On the downside, the city does sometimes feel a little sparse ? you can skate for a while and get the feeling there isn?t really much to play with. Skate Review

Advantages: Unique and fun controls - Great graphics - Able to upload footage - Replay value
Disadvantages: Frame rate issues - Not the best Multiplayer - Long loading times

. When you are going fast down a hill you see your clothes flap in the wind and when you bail (fall off your board) you feel every cracked bone as the character moves so realistically. Also the city of San Vanelona is massive. You get to skate wherever you want whenever you want. This feels very refreshing as you don't have to get stuck into the story if you don't want to. This makes it great for short periods of play if you don't have much time to spare but want to land that trick you were trying to do all last night down that flight of stairs. Multiplayer The multiplayer is probably the worst part of skate. Although not bad the frame rate of the other skaters online is appalling. Not unbearable but it can get annoying. There is a wide selection of game modes to play online with your friends though with spot challenges, races ...
