The MOTORAZR2V8 is yet another addition to the RAZR series of Motorola. It has a lot of similarities to the rest of the phones coming from this series, but it introduces a lot of changes and improvements. It is of the clamshell type, has two screens - one internal and one external, and it is packed with large variety of features. Especially worth mentioning are the multimedia ones like the 2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom with multi-shot mode, large number of supported media formats such as WAV, WMA, MP3 and AAC, it has Windows Media Player 9 as its default player and it has 11 hours of playback time. The sound quality is not impressive, but it is not terrible either. With it's sleek and sensual design, it's no wonder I was enticed into buying the Motorola RAZR2V8. It's a very trendy, aesthetically pleasing mobile, however, if one looks past the air of sophistication that it seems to give off, the RAZR's shortcomings become evident.
While using the RAZR, I found myself becoming frustrated. The various functions of the phone seem sluggish compared to other, chunkier, more heavy-duty mobiles out on the market. One will constantly find oneself pressing wrong buttons, or pressing buttons twice due to the fiddliness of the keypad. This can making using text messages an absolute chore.
When I attempted to use my RAZR as a music player, as reccomended in the phone's advertising campaig, I found that the music files simply slowed the phone down more. The RAZR doesn't have sufficient memory to act as ...

Last year (2000) Salomon announced the release of two new skates, the ST90 and the ST80. For some reason Salomon decided to scrap production of the ST80 and released the ST70 (a cheaper model) instead. Last summer Salomon decided to sell off all of there sample models of the ST80 so now these samples are available.
Since these are sample skates they were only ever made in one size (uk 8.5) so if this size is too large or too small for you then forget about buying these skates as riding wrongly sized skates can be detrimental to the health of your feet.
Out of the box these skates look amazing. The cool blue-grey colour used for the boot is definitely the most aesthetically pleasing of on any of the recent Salomon skates. This is highlighted by the white frame which gives the skates a very clean, stylish appearance.
