these shoes are made for walking

Advantages: long lasting, ideal changing weather
Disadvantages: you get so used to wearing them you don't like going out in your heels!

These are the third pair of Salomon shoes I?ve owned and I don?t think I will ever buy a different brand of walking shoe again. I live in a hilly area and don?t have a car and therefore do a lot of walking, not only are they incredibly comfortable but they keep my feet dry in the wettest of weather but at the same time circulate air and therefore I?ve never had the ?smelly trainer? problem. Basically they are warm and dry in winter and cool in the summer. As well as the everyday use mentioned above I?ve also wear them for more challenging walking, for example coastal path walks. Merrell Siren Shoe

Advantages: Excelent support and ventilation
Disadvantages: Non that I have been able to identify as yet

The staff took the time out to spend over 1 hour fitting many different makes and models of boots to my foot, to ensure that the boots I bought were the best fitting to my foot I tried boots from Scarpa, Meindl and Salomon and eventually purchased a pair for the Scarpa Ranger boots. While I was having my boots fitted, another staff member asked whether I can considered waterproof and softshell jackets ...

What Women Want? Chocolate and Shoes!

Advantages: funny most of the way through
Disadvantages: Helen Hunt's character

Firstly, I would like to point out that this is a film-only review, as I don't actually own the DVD, but I have seen the film on TV several times now. Mel Gibson plays Nick Marshall, an advertising exec, who is looking forward to being promoted at the huge ad agency he works at. When Nicks boss announces that he has given the job to someone else, Nicks ego is bruised, but when he finds out that he is being replaced with a woman, he's totally outraged. Nick is a bit of a male chauvinist pig, and doesn't see what a woman can bring to the job that he can't. Darcy McGuire (Helen Hunt), the woman who got the job ahead of Nick, turns up on her first day and calls a meeting. She presents the predominantly male workforce with a box of products commonly used by women, including lipstick, stockings, a leg waxing kit and a tub of bath beads ...
