Nice coffee table

Advantages: stylish, good quality, perfect size, reasonable price
Disadvantages: sore to stub your toe on!

As one of those people who had a really old, proper wood coffee tables (it became a sanding experiment gone bad!), I didn't fancy going for a completely modern glass type one. I first came across the Nexus range at the sale in Macdonald's furniture, and decided to go for the coffee table and the lamp table in light oak. The range is also available in chestnut. I think the oak looks better in small spaces as it's a lighter colour - the glass panel in the middle also helps to give the feeling of space in a room. In my opinion, the table is stylish yet not in a way that will make it ever look outdated. It measures H41cm x W129cm x D62cm and has stylish slotted joints and a smoky glass insert and was apparently designed by a British designer. Dine like a king for a peasants fee

Advantages: Dine at a top restaurant for a fraction of the cost
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

Review of Top Table

Our Table Table at Carlisle Bordergate

Advantages: Unique design works well, quality pub food, reasonable prices.
Disadvantages: Close proximity to motorway makes outdoor eating a no no for me, tiny loo's.

A couple of weeks ago, my parents and I, along with my children, decided we would go out for a bar meal. We've all been quite busy recently and it's been quite a while since we got together like this. We decided to go to a place we knew pretty well, which was reliable and child friendly. Knowing it as it's former name, 'The Carrow House', and more recently 'The Border Gate' and part of the Brewers Fayre chain we headed off. Arriving, we where surprised to see it had been taken over again, and completely refurbished, now under the name '"Table Table'" About Table Table This isn't a chain I personally have ever come across before, indeed didn't realise it was actually part of the same company as Brewers Fayre.
