...Scott Boulders is an MTB (stands for Mountain Bike) from Scott, limited, the leading resource of the best MTB in the world. Even if the Scott boulders is a 1999's production, it's very notable for the solid metallic frame and life longevity.
The Boulder comes in two different bend of colors; a burst of dark grey, blue, silver, white and a little bit of red, and the second where the blue is replaced with silver for a sleeker chrome look.
The triangular uni-sex frame is used, the front fork is shock k-absorbing, while the seat tube is left without shock absorber.
The handlebars are the Scott Strike Comp 1 P.G low-rise 600mm; Solid. The set width makes handling easy.

The secret of the pads is that they contain iron oxide (i.e. rust), and work on the same principle as sintering does for disc brake pads. They dramatically improve wet weather braking performance as well as wear.
Features of the Kool Stop Pads
Along with the salmon compound, the pads also feature Kool...

...?
They are a Swedish company who have subsidiary companies across the world, their head office is in Stockholm. In 1933 they invented the first liquid filled compass and from then on have never looked back. Along with producing compasses they also make pedometers, headlamps, outdoor instruments, binoculars, professional instruments, orienteering equipment to name but some.
The Model

Why do I use this model?
It is called a base plate compass, this means it is a compass that is housed in liquid, and this compass is set into a rectangular plate that has two measuring scales down the side. The scales are 1:50.000 and 1:25.000 (these scales coincide with the same two most common scales used in orienteering or ordinance survey maps...
