frank, I doubt there's much evident improvement. I much prefer the improvised bungee fix anyway.
The one thing I miss with these TwinJets is the ability to "balance" on them, to stop any roll, in other words. There is little resistance on the fin when it moves through the water in comparison with other more solid fin designs. This may also affect your performance when trying to make headway against a stiff current. I have had no real problems. You might get used to this, you might not.
WILL I KEEP THEM?
Probably not in the long run. I am now considering changing them for Turtle Jetfins, as I prefer their heavier construction and more rigid blade. I purchased the pulse twin stroller in January 2008 as I was expecting my 3rd child in March 2008, I required the twin pushchair as I already had a 13 month old son. I was initially impressed by the design and look of this pushchair.
However, this was prior to my first encounter with the Mamas & Papas customer care muppet show. The pushchair has now been returned for repair three times due to mechanical failure. However, the ineptitude of the repair personnel pails into insignificance when compare to the arrogance, rudeness and shocking attitude of the members of staff lurking in the Mamas & Papas store.
Having spent over £200 on a product from a highly regarded store I would not have expected to have been made to feel a 'scrounger' when returning the product for repair yet again.
