So you've got all your holiday appliances, Battery powered digital camera, Digital Video Camera or Standard Video Camera, MP3 or CD player, and other battery powered appliances, trouble is.....it costs a small fortune to keep these things powered, and standard Nickel Cadmium ( NiCads) Batteries just don't last very long or hold enough power to work the camera, and on top of this these batteries have a memory which needs to be completely discharged otherwise afer a short period of a few recharging cycles thy wont hold a charge...
So is there an answer to all this inconvenience...fortunately there is...

Hahnel was not a name I was familiar with, so I did a little research - they are part of hähnel industries ltd. Who manufacture accessories for the camera and camcorder market. The company is one of the leading manufactures of power products for camcorder and digital cameras. They are known for their innovative products, and have been in business for over 44 years.
Sounded good to me, I went back on Ebay and found these reasonably priced at £6.59 for pack of four ('Buy Now' ). I sent off a cheque and batteries duly arrived a couple of days later.

There is not much to say about this, simply brilliant!
Is very straight forward to use, only one switch to chose the type of battery to charge, insert the batteries, up to 4 depending of type, plug it in and wait until its charged.
It comes with a charge indicator and will stop charging when the batteries are ready; a green light will come up.
It can recharge batteries type AAA, AA and GF22, respectively up to 4, 4 and 2.
I have purchased on a promotional campaign so the price is irrelevant, although you can find it at the big stores in promotion time to time.
