We use this pole at a venue for catching big weights of 300lb + with fish running to upper doubles, I have total confidence in this piece of kit,even with a number 24 elastic pulled through and just give um some stick best margin pole by far, and ive had a few over the years. As for spare tops they come in at tops 30 quid !!! and you can buy an extention to take it to 10 meters. with the top kits its best to get rid of the number 1 section and a maver number 5 internal bush fits perfectly inside the number 2 section, and its has plenty of room for a big big elastic that looks more like a tow rope !! So if you are thinking of buying a margin pole look no further and dont let the price fool you, some other companies want £200 + for their poles but in my opinion they aint in the same league..
