Advantages: 2 spools, 2 handles, looks good Disadvantages: nothing major
I got this reel for Christmas a couple of years ago from my late Mum's older sister's family (I actually asked for the Potenza, but the local tackle shop was out of them... so got this newer Ganza instead).
It's available in in 5 different sizes for various types of fishing:
2403/030 - Holds 170m of 4lb Line
2403/035 - Holds 210m of 3lb Line
2403/040 - Holds 200m of 8lb line
2403/045 - Holds 230m of 10lb line
2403/050 - Holds 250m of 15lb line
I guess the 030 version is for general coarse fishing...... Roach / Rudd / Perch / small Tench, etc.
The 035 version is almost certainly for budding Bob Nudds & Alan Scotthorne's, as it's the only one in the range supplied with 2x Shallow Aluminium Match spools.
The 040 version is the one I've got, I reckon that it's best use is for Chub, Barbel & Larger Tench + Carp in low ...
Advantages: Good casting distance, high speed retrieval, comfortable handle, good power Disadvantages: Outer finishing seems not lasting too long. Quality deterioriate after some time.
This reel had every features that you wanted from a shore reel. From ergonomic handle, high speed, retrieving power and long cast. I wrote a good review about this reel before but today I am taking it back. It is simply because this reel had no durability as demanded.
After had some fun with this reel, it started to get 'heavy'. the turn is no longer smootth and when drag is tighten, the reeling smoothness became tight as well. I had cleaned, re-lubricate and service, it just not able to be at its peak state.
Now I will not even recommend this reel to anyone. You might be better off getting a Penn at the same amount of money or spend a bit more for Shimano that never fail to impress and yet very durable. ...
Advantages: A great read! Disadvantages: A little short!

INTRODUCTION
?The Front?, was the first novel from Mandasue Heller and was published in 2002.
Ms Heller moved to Manchester in 1982. She spent ten years living in a notorious rough area of the city, working as a singer in bands playing on the local pubs and clubs circuit. After a vicious attack on her home she decided to try to fulfil her ambition of becoming a writer.
She had always enjoyed reading crime novels so she wrote about what she knew, about life on the rough estates of Manchester.
Mandasue Heller is billed as being very much like Martina Cole, and I do agree with this comment.

Maybe the fact that when the freespool is on you have to turn the reel handle a full 1/2 a turn to engage the clutch. Can be a bit daunting when you first start using the reel and your used to picking up the rod and striking before reeling in. (*)
