...Being a keen biker i have to recomend this chain ring for all those bikers that ride Dual, Downhill and Dirt riding. This ring will offer speed at a price though. I personally ride dirt and dual and Shimano make superb Quality product. However this chain ring is mass produced and so it lacks the personalized touch that other manufacturers give to their chain rings. I would recomend this as my second choice chain ring as i feel the Middle burn rings are slightly better. All in all a poor buy. I do not recomend this product.... Read review

...Shimano Deore is the main manufacturer of biking gear components. With them being the main manufacturer they will obviously more established and well known. Shimano Deore is the better part of Shimano's gearing. They have the SIS gearing which is lower quality. The models of the Deore range is; Deore, LX, XT and XTR. With the kit's getting better as you read them. I currently have a LX rear derailleur. You are probably thinking what is better in the different models. Some people don't really care and they just want the best model they can buy. All of the rear derailleur is covered to prevent and muck and sand to get into it and wreck it. The best part of the Deore range is that when you are going up hill's or you just need to change down a gear quickly, they don't jump, forcing you to not pedal really quickly, this is really... ...shimano, in using a new 4 pot system have moved into the league usually dominated by Hope. the 4 pot system gives greater power than two pot systems and doesnt overheat easily. the shimano is better than the hopes because it uses two cylinders to drive the pads rather than the one cylinder that the hope uses to drive all 4 pads. the shimanos are also a lot cheaper than other systems with comparible performance, although they need expensive hubs, making them more expensive than the hope open 2s. the braided hoses are bombproof but need to be precut and the levers give superb modulation and good feel....
