This was one of my first fishing rods. I use it all the time for feeder and leger fishing. It has a beautiful, smooth tip action with a very comfortable handle. The reel sits very nicely in the grip, giving you a sturdy sitting and good position. The rod itself is fairly light and very easy to use. It is very forgiven and can be used in many different situations. The two responsive tips are very nice (1oz+2oz), with orange tips making them very clear and easy to see. They are very sensitive making bit identification very easy. The only thing I would say against it would be that the rings used tend to clog up easily, making this rod il-suited to light fishing, whether it be freelining or float fishing.
