Advantages: Is personal, and the girl's voice is good! Disadvantages: Not really, although one or two songs may be growers
I have heard all the comparisons. Delta Goodrem, Christina Aguilera, Leanne Rimes, and they may even go on. But despite this, Lucie Silvas seems to shine with her own sound and her own style.
Throughout the 13 track album her beautiful voice flows effortlessly over sometimes quiet and enchanting songs but perfectly compliments faster up tempo tunes. Without you ever having to read up on her background, the songs seem to be bravely displaying some very personal experiences and aspects of this young girls life.
Her frist single 'What You're Made Of' is a song I like to play loudly for the sheer excuse that it's just so damn good! It was an excellent choice for her debut into the music scene, and instantly catupulted her into the spotlight.

a game that you're playing and I'm not gonna lose'. The accompanying video is also quite funny, worth watching!
The Same Side - Written about Lucie's sister (and fellow bandmate) Mia Silvas, this is a personal track with a gospel feel to it. Definitely one of the stand out tracks and has always been a favourite of mine, 'This is our time to fly and I don't wanna leave you behind, it should be you and I on the same side', lyrically this is one of Lucie's best songs.
Trying Not To Lose - Not the strongest song on the album, but all the same it is a lovely relaxing song. It's about feeling confused about what you have, 'If I could only wake up not feeling so connfused about what I have and what I'm trying not to lose'. It has quite an acoustic sound to it, so if you're a fan of acoustic music then you'll like this.
