...have owned a pair of Drake F60s (drakes top-of-the-range model) which they have not only provided me with a great connection to the board, but they have lasted through 2 boards and upwards of 300 days on the slopes. They are still going strong, and so when it came to kitting out my girlfriend there was only one place to start looking. Drakes "entry level" binding. The design of these is identical to my old F60's, not surprisingly as this geometry ...

The materials I guess have been downgraded, with plastic substituted for metal in some areas, but I have no worries with that, as technology has improved to the extent that the plastics used are probably just as strong. The performance seems to match my old F60's 100 percent. The flex in the GT's is almost zero, The very wide top strap and tall highback combining to keep your boot sitting firmly in the binding. Review of Drake GTO

drake f60 bindings

Advantages: great feel, easy adjustment, comfy straps
Disadvantages: cost, straps quite short

I bought these bindings only because my original ones had given up on me half way down a mountain. It has been the best thing that has happened to my boarding. Both the baseplate and highback are fairly stiff so all movement is transferred direct to the board. The straps are wide and padded so they are super comfy. Review of Drake F60

Fantastic bindings

Advantages: More control, more comfort, very fast
Disadvantages: Must enter on toe edge

...an awful lot - with Flow bindings your feet stay in the same place making turns smoother and easier. They also come with numerous ways of adjusting the fittings - my tip is to do this before you hit the slopes and not during as I found out one day when I spent about half an hour tightening the back - which I had to do by unscrewing the entire binding. However, once its been done once, it doesn't have to be done again. The only draw back I can see ...
...edge, but for beginners who sometimes find it difficult to get up on their heel edge, this is another advantage. All in all I throughly recommend thse bindings - they may be more expensive than the regular type but they are far more comfortable and give you more control over the board.
