Slazenger Power Blade

Advantages: Nice power to weight ratio
Disadvantages: Grip can feel a little loose

Just bought this bat ready for the new summer season and I must say I?m very impressed. Weight wise it?s nice and light, although a tad heavier towards the toe, obviously for power purposes although the heavier end allows for a nice heavy swing with less effort in the elbows and wrists. If the bat is 100% with 0% being by the handle and 100% being the toe. The sweetest spot is at about 80%, although the bat is actually quite thin the sweet spot covers the entire face area around the sweet spot. I think this is because of the flatness of the bat this far down. As most cricket bats have a curve like a road where it?s higher in the middle and curves off towards the edges. Although at the sweet spot it seems to be flatter than anywhere else on the bat. Grip is very good; the grip provided with the bat is strong enough, although there ...

Slazenger V500 Select Cricket Bat

Advantages: Brilliant middle, nice design
Disadvantages: None as yet

After finishing my first season at my local cricket club with no cricket bat of my own, I decided it was about time to buy my own. Usually this particular bat is £70. I plumped for the Short handle (mainly because it was the only one left in the shop!!). I wasn't disappointed. The bat didn't need 'knocking in' due to the protective cover over the front so I was straight in the Winter Nets with it. After a few overs getting used to the bat, I found the middle quite easily. The middle of this bat is not for the faint hearted!! A nice cover drive saw the ball hurtling THROUGH the bottom of the net and towards the far corner of the room ...

xbox elite

Advantages: online play, map updates, and the dreaded achivements
Disadvantages: the wife will divorce you, xbox live fee and fan is really loud

had the normal 360 for an year and then traded it in for the elite. i loved the black colour and the idea of the bigger hard drive. with standard white machine there was the curse of the "ring of death" which i never got with the white machine, but did get it with first elite machine and was told buy guys in game that this was sorted for the elite! well got it all sorted and second machine i have no problems with at all and its been running for year and a half. elite came with an hdmi port and i got a kinda of cheap hd television from argos, but the picture quality was amazing, and i am sure with better hd television the xbox would stand out even better. in box you get xbox elite, one black wireless controller, hdmi cable and also hd normal cable with optical cable for sound. as to date there is tons of amazing games out ...
