i have been playing hockey for a long time now and have reached very high levels in doing so, playing as one of 8 goalkeepers in this country to play hipac at my age. i did this wearing my slazenger helmet that i would trust if a ball came towards my face. these helmets are very good for beginner/intermediate players. if you are just starting hockey this is one of the cheapest helmets around, but don't let that fool you as this would keep you easily protect from a shot at the face, it was so good that when my first slazenger helmet got too small, i brought another one, i even got a fellow hampshire goalkeeper to buy one as his grays one was to uncomfortable. only downsides are that there not as strongly protective as some more expensive helmets or as comfortable, but personally this was not much difference and you can easily get used to ...

I have been playing hockey for a considerable number of years now and i gaced a tough decision when I decided i needed a new stick this season.
The last stick i bought was a very good stick and was very expensive as it cost me over £200, however its durability was very poor.
After doing some research on the internet i found the Grays O tech stick, with new technology that channeled the energy of the hit down to the ball because of the holes in the isde of the stick. They also decrease air resistance so that the swing can increase its speed. In my opinion you cannot argue with the technology behind this stick and i was thoroughly convinced. My GRAF Skates have finally lost out to a newcomer to the skate market.
Easton.
Easton used to make skates many moons ago but drifted away and into Sticks only.
Now they are back with other items of kit and the skates are superb.
