Advantages: Comfortable, good protection Disadvantages: Not very stylish
Well there ain't much to write about cricket gloves but here goes!
These gloves were given to me by my friend who retired from cricket near the start of the season. He had only used them once so I was grateful to receive.
The gloves are very comfortable when holding a bat which is what you expect. The protection is pretty good as I found out to my disadvantage when i was hit on my thumb in the last game of the season ... ...any lasting damage other than a bruise :-)
The style comprises of box structure fingers, a thin layer on the palm with air holes to prevent excessive sweating (not much use when facing the likes of Darren Gough etc.)
The velcro strap on the wrist is very wide making it difficult to fall off during a match as my old Gunn and Moore gloves.
Overall, a good glove with great protection and comfort. Style isn't ... more
