Sleeping Bags

Advantages: Warm and good price
Disadvantages: Bulky and heavy

I bought this as i needed a warm winter sleeping bag for some out of car camping and it is ideal. It is basically a duvet with a nylon outercoating. I am a very warm person and can often use the extreame guidence as my comfort zone regarding the temperature. It is very comfortable inside, you cannot feel any seams or the zip, the hood fits nicely over you head without blocking your face and generally has a lot of room inside (im 6'1 and 16 stone). It has a nice soft feel inside and a general feeling of quality I do a lot of backpacking type camping all over the country in winter and summer and this bag is not designed for that, it is heavy and bulky, and i wouldnt like to have to dry it out ... I have trekked with this in my pack and it has left plenty of room for all the other essentials, such as tent, clothes, food, etc... This sleeping bag is definately a great buy. I've had this bag for about 5 years now and it has really withstanded the wear and tear it has come under: More than 25 weekends sleeping on bare ground, a month long expedition in south america and several bunkhouse trips. In that 5 years it has kept me remarkably warm.
