Snug as a Bug
Advantages: Warm, designed specifically with children in mind, extendable Disadvantages: The toggles get in the way!
...We chose the Ajungilak Little Viking Sleeping bag, as it seemed to combine all the features that we were looking for.
Ajungilak have been making sleeping bags for many years, I think the first bag was made in the 1870’s! They also specialise in synthetic fillings for sleeping bags and other bedding. Nowadays they manufacture their products in China but design and test them in Norway. They are widely available in the UK.
The Little Viking bag is ... ...handy for nappy changing!! Ajungilak do say that the bag can be used in a pram or pushchair. It also has all the bells and whistles that you would expect from a good quality mummy design sleeping bag, baffles, drawstrings, Velcro fasteners, extra filling round the feet and no coldspots. The outer is Micro-Lite Tex, a ripstop nylon especially made for Ajungilak, the filling is Terraloft (a type of hollowfibre) and the inner is polycotton. Altogether ...

Compact and comfortable....a little heavy on the pocket though
Advantages: Compact, warm, light weight Disadvantages: A little high price
The Kids Gelert Sleeping Bag is a good pick for a weekend camping trip with your kids. Priced at about £14.99, it provides a compact and comfortable sleep to your child. It's light weight, has a soft-poly cotton lining that ensures a comfortable and warm sleep It's machine washable and has an interior storage pocket to keep your favourite toy safe with you. With this you get a stuff sack to fold your sleeping bag and carry it with you while you travel. ...

Slumber Warmly on Your Next Camping or Backpacking Trip
Advantages: Great for "cold" camping, Very silky soft interior/exterior & waterproof, Relatively Lightweight Disadvantages: Somewhat bulky for a backpacking sleeping bag
...2008 when I purchased this Slumberjack +10 Degree Sleeping Bag. I was in the U.P of Michigan in late October. I thought to myself before going...."No WAY am I going to freeze again". So, I did some online shopping and sporting goods store shopping and came across this sleeping bag. I didn't really want to spend the money on it. The most I had spent on a sleeping bag before was around $50.00. Yet, I was sooooooo happy I decide to spend the little ... ...in this sleeping bag. It is off the charts comfortable. It's compact enough to fit on the bottom of your backpack inside your tent,(although it is a bit more bulky and heavy than some others).
If you want that extra warmth though, you will have to take that slighty bulky factor with a grain of salt. I wasn't upset that it took a little more effort to attach this to my pack. I was happy to do it, because the first night I used this, I didn't wake ...

Mountain Hardwear Lamina 0
Advantages: Very warm, great colour, comfortable & simple Disadvantages: slightly heavy
The orange glow of this sleeping bag kept us warm on the Northern Ice cap, south Patagonia. Our expedition took us through mozzie ridden temperate forest; snow and then onto the icecap itself. For a period of 6 weeks, this bag proved infallible.
Having been snowed in for a long period on the icecap, warmth was paramount. The Lamina remained warm even after becoming saturated with tent condensate. The neck baffle system worked a treat; it was simple ... ...open, even with gloved hands, and over the 6 week duration the zips didn't 'catch' once. If you're looking for a hard core synthetic sleeping bag then this definatley gets my seal of approval; if the icecap wasn't enough it's also stood up to some wet & windy wild camping in the UK lake district. ...
