Good out of car camping sleeping bag

Advantages: Warm and good price
Disadvantages: Bulky and heavy

I bought this as i needed a warm winter sleeping bag for some out of car camping and it is ideal. It is basically a duvet with a nylon outercoating. I am a very warm person and can often use the extreame guidence as my comfort zone regarding the temperature. It is very comfortable inside, you cannot feel any seams or the zip, the hood fits nicely over you head without blocking your face and generally has a lot of room inside (im 6'1 and 16 stone). It has a nice soft feel inside and a general feeling of quality I do a lot of backpacking type camping all over the country in winter and summer and this bag is not designed for that, it is heavy and bulky, and i wouldnt like to have to dry it out ...

Warm and snuggly in my nice sleeping bag

Advantages: Quality
Disadvantages: Expensive

Disadvantages: It can't make the sun shine when you're camping!!

Advantages: Good first sleeping bag!
Disadvantages: None really

We took our 10 month old son camping in the UK for the first time a couple of years ago in August, and again the following summer, and we used this baby sleeping bag. It was nice and cosy and kept him warm through the night. Unfortunately he was too tall for it last summer - so we got him a Nitestar Midi bag instead.
