I have always been one of those firm believers that physical exercise is the only way to tone and lose weight coming from a family of runners. Hence when I was approached to try the Slendertone Ab Belt I was sceptical. The first week was strange and it appeared a little daunting with the gel pads and battery pack. However as I progressed through the 4 week program I found that the Slendertone belt fitted into my life effortlessly. Like most young professionals, work, long commutes and household chores start to burden your daily life more and more and sadly the first thing we cut down on is exercise. My slendertone belt even effortlessly joined me on a trip to Tuscany where I could over indulge in Pizza and Ice cream guilt-free! The result was astonishing, I took pre and post photos and could not only feel the difference in my clothing waistline but could see the difference. I have even received compliments on my flat tummy – first time! I highly recommend this product for any working individual who, like us all, finds maintaining a balance between work, life and exercise a challenge. I have a long commute to work and my belt is the ideal co pilot. Better still once I’m home, exercise and work are ticked. All in a day’s work!
Advantages: Biggest advantage is ease of use, it's easy to fit into your daily routine. Disadvantages: Whilst not negative, it is quite a strange sensation. Also need to keep replacing the pads.
...was excited to try the Slendertone ab product as I find traditional stomach exercises quite stressful on my back and neck. I was also looking for a 'quick fix' solution to toning up my abs. One of the biggest benefits is the ease of use of the product, once you have this on you are free to do whatever else you need to. I made this part of my daily 'getting ready for work' routine and had to remind myself some days to give my muscles a rest.
After ... ...that it does work - but it must be combined with a broader exercise routine. People expecting miracle results without any other exercise (as I did in the first 4 weeks!) will be disappointed, but if you see it as another piece of equipment in your exercise/gym routine you will pleased. ...

I’ve never used an electronic muscle toning system before and the first time I used Slendertone’s System Abs I found the sensation very strange, I didn’t actually expect to feel it working at all. I soon got used to it and when the 20 minutes was up and the machine beeped I had forgotten all about it. The next day I could already feel a difference, my abs definitely felt as if they’d had a bit of a workout. Before using the Abs belt I had slacked ... ...days a week actually seeing a difference really motivated me to get back into my normal routine of regular exercise and healthy eating. System Abs is really easy to use, it takes no time to set it up and you can wear it whilst driving to work, cooking the dinner or even watching TV! After 4 weeks of using it I can really feel and see the difference. In the past I’ve struggled to keep my tummy toned and so using this has definitely helped me to achieve ...
