Smart Polaris 3 White LED Front Light

Light up your mother in law!

Advantages: Excellent level of light, work very well, cheap
Disadvantages: None for us so far

of the Night Light unit with the motion detector underneath it and about 1.5cm in diameter. The whole thing is set on a white 3 pin plug. I have to admit that, at this stage I was less than convinced about this, as I have tried this sort of thing in the past with very limited success. Anyway we plugged one into the socket near the door of the guest room and as we don't have a socket on our very small landing we put the other one in the socket near the door of our bedroom just to see what it was like. The device has three settings and the choice is made by moving a switch on the top from side to side. You can leave the light permanently on which seems a bit wasteful to me but there you are! You can set the light to come on at dusk and go back off at dawn - this was the mode that I thought wouldn't work too well as I have tried one in ...

Review of Masterplug Motion Detector LED Night Light White

Superb lights, Bikehut ultrabright LED light set.

Advantages: Super bright, very white lamps with excellent beam.
Disadvantages: Rear lamp uses batteries a bit quicker

I bought these from Halfords (£34.99) and though they were not cheap (list price is over £50.00) they were certainly worth it. The front lamp is amazing! main beam/dipped beam and flashing. It is a pure white light and has a superb beam almost like a car headlamp! Battery life, 4 x AA (so far - 3 months old now) is very good I am still on the first set of batteries in the front lamp with occasional use. The rear light is also very bright, main and flashing mode. Battery life on this is a lot less, 2 x AAA and I replace these regularly, but I use rechargables so they may go flat faster than original batteries. Overall, though they are expensive lights to buy, they are worth every penny, and are very easy on batteries compared to old style bulbs or the newer halogens, so will save you money there in the end. My 50th review. Cue applause, marching bands, street parties etc. For the half century I've saved up this milestone for my op on one of the biggest, longest, loudest and most influential rock albums ever made. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I offer to you, Led Zeppelin's "Physical Graffiti". In the days before CDs were invented, you had yer actual double album, guvnor. A favourite format for 1970's rock bands, allowing them to stretch out their ideas over 80+ minutes of vinyl. This is probably the definitive rock double album. Strangely enough it didn't come in the standard double-album gatefold sleeve, having instead a single album format, but with two vinyl covers, which when placed into the top of the album insert cleverly shows different scenes going on in a New York tenement block, such as pictures ...
