Disadvantages: Quite expensive.

...This helmet may be one of the most expensive helmets on the market but it is the most expensive for a reason! I believe the first designs of the helmet were designed by the England test player Robin Smith, with a focus on erradicating any blind spots that were always present in older style helmets. And what a success this was! There is a minimal amount of bars making up the grill of the helmet and those that are used are very thin and are little if no distraction for the batsman and there are none of the dreaded black spots where you can't see the ball pitch. The idea of the titanium grill is also inspired, you are able to bat for long periods of time (not that i tend to!) without getting that pain in your neck with the weight of the helmet and in comparison to other older style, heavier helmets, you literally hardly notice you... ...UPDATE ****** This gym has now bought the best Smith machine I have ever used, its superb, they also have an E-Z bar , so I can now do my favourite exercises! NOW CARRY ON READING ******************* I have in the past 3 months become a member of Holmes Place, mainly because I need to get in shape again and loose those extra pounds that have materialised on my torso without my consent. The gym is also right outside Hendon Central Underground station, so I can't help but think of it as I'm going home each day. No excuses I told myself like "it's too far", or "I keep on forgetting to go" basically it's the antithesis of 'out of sight out of mind'. The gym itself is huge, as it was once an old style cinema with three really large screens. It has a swimming pool, two halls for classes, and a whole level for holistic exercises and beauty... The staff do not go out of their way to help they just say please fill in this feedback form and we will give it to our manager who is not here at the moment (this being around 4 pm ...so what time does she work?), now this feedback form which I have just taken the time to write probably just gets thrown away in my opinion.I have not had a phone call as yet and I have written 3 times,this online method now being my 4th.Since my first letter there has been no change not even to the clocks which is proof they cant even fix the simplest things.After asking many times for her name which they were not willing to provide. I managed to find out that she is one of many managers to come and go. Sally Smith is currently the club manager of LA Fitness Newbury and if you are reading this review the first thing I would do is to remember her... Read review
