Advantages: Lightweight and flexible Disadvantages: None
...As I feel the cold quite often when I'm diving I decided to invest in a cyberskin as I had read good reports about it in various dive magazines. I wasn't keen on buying a semi-dry to take abroad with me as I feel they can be cumbersome. I usually wear a 5mm Gul Steamer but felt I needed some extra insulation.
The cyberskin is 0.5mm thick and extremely light. The material is silky and flexible and feels extremely comfortable. It comes in women's and men's sizes from small through to XXL and is £65. Although it is only 0.5mm thick it is equal in warmth to a 2mm wetsuit and can be used alone for diving in warmer waters. I bought an all in one with a back zipper but it is possible to purchase it as a separate top and bottoms. I had thought that it might be difficult to get my 5mm wetsuit over the top of it but in actual fact it made...

Advantages: Extremely Warm. Considerable Amount Of Down Disadvantages: I Can't Think Of Any
...collar system which maintains full and even loft in the head and shoulder areas. One of the more common heat loss regions. An inner zipper running parallel to the outer zipper keeps the differential cut at a constant thickness, combined with the double draft tubes this completely seals in the warm air. The Snowy Owl is the standard choice for expeditions on the highest mountains in the world or the most remote areas of the North and South Poles. Advantages: Durable, light, small Disadvantages: not good in colder conditions, other bags are smaller
...I've had this bag for about 5 years now and it has really withstanded the wear and tear it has come under: More than 25 weekends sleeping on bare ground, a month long expedition in south america and several bunkhouse trips. In that 5 years it has kept me remarkably warm. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone planning to sleep in temperatures around 0 degrees (C) as unlike the manufactures rating of extreme -5 i would say it is more like 0. It has also prooven to be very useful in warmer conditions, such as indoors, where the full length zip can easily be undone and the fact that there are 2 zippers on one zip means you can easily get some air to your feet whilst keeping your shoulders warm. The drawstring is another good feature as on those colder nights it ensures your shoulders remain covered. However the best aspect of theis bag is its...
