...is in its versatility. On hot days and warm nights it can be used without the front panel - and it is like staying under an oval brolly. You can't do that with an Armadillo!
During the few hours of dusk where the midges are about you can simply fill in the front with the mosquito net, until they are gone, then the net can be removed.
If it starts to rain, or the wind picks up, or you just want that extra privacy and to hide away then the front infill panel can be zipped in in a matter of seconds.

Advantages: Durable, light, small Disadvantages: not good in colder conditions, other bags are smaller

The drawstring is another good feature as on those colder nights it ensures your shoulders remain covered. However the best aspect of theis bag is its...

Advantages: Lightweight, spacious, well made Disadvantages: fiddly to put up
...It’s only an op about a tent……honestly!
Who’s that fella Vango anyway………….?!
I consider myself a hardened camper. I have camped in rain, wind, sleet, snow, sun and thunderstorms. I have pitched a tent halfway up a mountain, in tropical jungle, in a lay-by and on the beach. I have had my tents blown away, been soaked to the skin, eaten by midges, infested by ants (and once a hedgehog) and still come back for more.
Right, we thought, it’s time to introduce the children to this fabulous pastime. Besides it...
