FABRIC INFO
'Infin8T' is the new fabric of Snugpaks' flagship 'Softie' range of sleeping bags. It has a new luxuriously textured finish and incorporates the special Infin8T weave, designed specifically for Snugpak by long term fabric partners, Perseverance Mills, manufacturers of Pertex®. a high performance, lightweight nylon. Pertex uses many thousands of bundles of microfine yarn within its construction. The capillaries created between these yarns actively draw moisture away from the source and spread it across the surface area allowing it to more readily evaporate. As the moisture is evaporating from the fabric, and not from the occupant, chilling is dramatically reduced.
TS1 Thermal Suede, a lightweight polyester with a suede finish uses a combination of yarns with different thicknesses. Microfine yarns (less then 1 decitex) are on the outer side, and Macrofibre yarns (3 decitex) are on the inner side, which are raised to produce a short pile, similar in feel to suede. The construction exploits a basic physical property - that water will always move from a low to a high surface area, or from the Macro to the Micro filament yarns, thus moving water from the body towards the outside of the bag.
FILLING INFO
Softie or 'superfine high-thermal' is a combination of fibres with different crimp systems and surface finishes. Some are crimped, some are curled and some just left as they are. The random nature of the process results in a product that closely resembles the structure of natural down and the way it performs. The yarns used are staple yarns as in natural insulations (as opposed to continuously extruded as in most synthetic fills). The fibres have now been updated with special binders and treatments for an excellent combination of softness and durability. Softie is extremely lightweight, and has excellent re-loft abilities, when unpacked.

Advantages: Durable, light, small Disadvantages: not good in colder conditions, other bags are smaller
...I've had this bag for about 5 years now and it has really withstanded the wear and tear it has come under: More than 25 weekends sleeping on bare ground, a month long expedition in south america and several bunkhouse trips. In that 5 years it has kept me remarkably warm. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone planning to sleep in temperatures around 0 degrees (C) as unlike the manufactures rating of extreme -5 i would say it is more like 0. It has also prooven to be very useful in warmer conditions, such as indoors, where the full length zip can easily be undone and the fact that there are 2 zippers on one zip means you can easily get some air to your feet whilst keeping your shoulders warm. The drawstring is another good feature as on those colder nights it ensures your shoulders remain covered. However the best aspect of theis bag is its...

...Ultralite 900 is just 1kg. But the weight is not a problem with the excellent nights sleep you will be recieveing.
It says the bag can be used down to about -30, but i wouldnt use this bag anywhere less than about -15 (the comfort rating.) -30 is when skin starts to turn black so a high end down bag would be prefered in a situation such as that.
When inside the bag it isnt that spacious, which can be a good or a bad thing, whichever way you look at it. On one hand it makes the bag warmer, but if you are a slightly larger person, then this isnt the bag for you.

Advantages: Cosier than my own bed Disadvantages: None
...It was around 11pm, here i was in the middle of nowhere. (Actually i was in a wood just up the road from my house). It was ice cold, we'd just finished unpacking everything for out camping advnture tomorrow and decided to go to sleep. Id brought a new sleepingbag only 2 days before, A Big Pack Alpentine. I unravelled it and lay it down on the floor. Then climbed in, and that was when it hit me. This is no ordinary sleepingbag. It fits around you perfectly without any gaps, its so warm you wouldnt beleive it and the pillow is softer than the ones on my own bed. Thats why I now sleep in on one every night at home. My friends think its rather stupid and to be fair to them sleeping in a sleepingbag every night when you have a perfectly good bed next to you is rather bemusing but i just love it. If you choose to buy it then whetever you...

Great, stylish and in my opinion very comfortable. That is what I think of the Kingston Sports Contour Gel Mouse Wrist Pad.
