...I own 2 DS Lites, my son has one and my partner does, they come in a great range of colours Black,White,Pink and the newer Blue.
The touch screen on them is great, it makes the games so much more fun and with games like super mario you get mini games that all use the touch screen and they are great fun.
As for the size of it well i carnt complain its small quite slim and light! hence the name.
As for the age recomended on these my son has had one since last christmas and at the time he was 3! and after about a day learnt how to use it better than me lol. some games can be akward for smaller children but the likes of super mario, mario kart, shrek,cars ect are great for them.
Its also very durable my son has dropped his on tiled floor, sat on it and god knows what else and its fine, its also very easy to keep clean.

...opponent and kill em, i cant say much for fighting games as the psp wins there with mortal kombat and tekken. but overall its a nice little console that is stylish with descent graphics on most games, plenty of things to do with a very good battery life compare to other handhelds even previous consoles before this by the same company like gameboy and gameboy advance sp oh yeah the ds lite takes the gameboys games aswell....

...The Nintendo DS Lite is a handheld games machine thats fun for all the family. it bascilly a portable version of the nintendo WII, instead of a wiimote you have a stylus pen and you use it on the DS touchscreen to control the game. i had my DS lite for a year and its worth every penny. its also got wi-fi tecnology so you can play online with friends and family. there is also a big catalogue of games from kids games to movie tie ins ie g force , ice age 3 . then there is the amazing brain training which is amazing fun then there is mario kart which is fantastic . the nintendo ds lite is so easy to work. the ds comes with a built in battery and charger, so there is no need to buy batteries which is a great thing its self....
