Advantages: Durable, light, small Disadvantages: not good in colder conditions, other bags are smaller
I've had this bag for about 5 years now and it has really withstanded the wear and tear it has come under: More than 25 weekends sleeping on bare ground, a month long expedition in south america and several bunkhouse trips. In that 5 years it has kept me remarkably warm. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone planning to sleep in temperatures around 0 degrees (C) as unlike the manufactures rating of extreme -5 i would say it is more like 0. It has also ... ...indoors, where the full length zip can easily be undone and the fact that there are 2 zippers on one zip means you can easily get some air to your feet whilst keeping your shoulders warm. The drawstring is another good feature as on those colder nights it ensures your shoulders remain covered.
