I've had this bag for about 5 years now and it has really withstanded the wear and tear it has come under: More than 25 weekends sleeping on bare ground, a month long expedition in south america and several bunkhouse trips. In that 5 years it has kept me remarkably warm. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone planning to sleep in temperatures around 0 degrees (C) as unlike the manufactures rating of extreme -5 i would say it is more like 0. It has also prooven to be very useful in warmer conditions, such as indoors, where the full length zip can easily be undone and the fact that there are 2 zippers on one zip means you can easily get some air to your feet whilst keeping your shoulders warm. The drawstring is another good feature as on those colder nights it ensures your shoulders remain covered. However the best aspect of theis bag is its size, it packs down to a really small size and in comparison to other synthetic bags it is tiny and weighs very little. But, i think it does lack the qualities of many down bags, such as an even smaller and lighter pack size/weight and the ability to withstand the extreme cold. On the other hand this bag is outstanding value for what it does and if you are planning on doing some small expeditions in temperate regions, and you have a small budget, this is definitely a good bag.
