Advantages: Great shinpads at great price Disadvantages: There are better shinpads than these
...My mum recently bought me these new shinpads and I instantly thought, "Sondico? MUM! Where's my Nike shinpads!"
Now I'm glad she didn't buy the nike ones for a couple of reasons,
I think these ones are far more comfatable.
When I got these out of the pakaging I could already tell that these were going to be a really good pair of shinpads.
They have rubber insides and rubber around the sharp plastic edges which will keep your shins well protected and really comfatable.
They have an ankle guard already attached to protect your ankles from hard knocks and studs attached to them so these are ideal for football and hockey.
They also look really cool, dark blue plastic with black rubber and a black ankle guard, or silver plastic with a black ankle guard.
I have already used these shinpads for football, rugby and hockey, I am positive...

Advantages: Strong, safe, very protective and extremely comfortable Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
...sweat away from your skin. I cut the ankle protection sock off because it wasn't needed and they still fit fine. I've found the protection they offer is superb. They've saved me from injury many times and now need replacing (with another pair of Coolmax guards!) They are the most comfortable shinguards I have ever worn, and as someone who needs to wear shinguard protection for up to 20 hours at a time comfort is really important, and these are the best I've ever found.
I cycle a lot as well and almost always wear the Coolmax guards when I'm on my bike. A pedal in the shin is very VERY painful, but I've smacked the pedal into my shin many times on rides when I've been wearing the Coolmax guards and never once have I been even slightly hurt. They've stopped EVERYTHING that's been thrown at them at work and on the bike and some...

Advantages: The great fit of Intuition liners Disadvantages: They're a wee bit ugly
...are heat moulded to your feet, it’s easy to get a good fit. The only thing to remember about buying boots with Intuition liners is to make sure the shop you buy them from has the right heat-moulding equipment and that a proper boot fitter helps you make the most them.
One improvement the Griffon might benefit from is a velcro strap in the liner across the ankle minimise heel lift. But the interior lacing on the outer boot does a pretty good job of keeping the liner in place. The inside laces are a bit fiddly but once your fingers are nimble enough to get right down to the bottom holes, they strap up pretty tight.
My new Griffons felt like lead wellies for the first couple of days but I was able to break them in pretty quickly and now I love them.
Having good boots makes a huge difference to your riding and your happiness. Try a pair...
