Advantages: Stunning looks, very comfortable. Disadvantages: Very poor grip
Since being young I have been borderline obsessed with goalkeepergloves. In my late teens and early 20's I was buying up to 8 pairs of gloves a season. Outrageous, yes maybe, but I was hooked with the feel and optimism that a new pair of gloves would bring. My mates bought boots by the, er, boot load, I however always opted for gloves.
Imagine then my disappointment with this purchase. They look the absolute part, having an excellent colour scheme and that massive Nike tick, reassurance usually of a well-made product. I fell for these gloves immediately and parted with something in the region of £65 for them. I had made a mistake.
The main problem with these gloves is the foam. 4mm latex palms are what you would expect from professional quality gloves, but by my own admission the SGT technology was an intriguing concept ...
Advantages: Protection from breaks and increased control Disadvantages: Can be a bit strange at first if not used to fingersaves but easy to adapt to!
I thought I would write this review as I have had a great experience with this product. I'm no professional, though play football at a respectable level and consider myself to be a promising young goalkeeper.
I had never bothered with fingersave gloves before I broke my index finger in a game last year. I decided following it's recovery that I should invest in a pair of fingersave gloves. I must admit I had my reservations about these in particular with respect to mobility. I thought the bending of the fingers would be restricted too much but I was wrong.
I invested in a pair of these and they have been brilliant, no problems whatsoever. If there is anyone out there not wearing fingersave gloves, then invest in a pair, because you only need to break a finger that refuses to heal properly and you've got problems. These gloves ...
Advantages: the secure finger guards Disadvantages: the is no secure guard for the thumb
the new addias finger savers are very useful in a game situation they are very pretected and padded on the finger area i thought this prouduct was very good for playing football,i felt very safe wearing them because my freind used normall keepergloves and broke 2 of his fingers so i was safe.one of the best things about the fingersaves are when you save the ball it dosent bend the fingers back and also the stout grip. the fingersaves are very comthy and warm so on bad weather it doest make your hand go cold as quick as the normal gloves would.anyone who enjoys being in goal should buy a pair because if you get a pair then you know your a keeper and your safe and secure, you can get them in 2 differrent colours green stripes going horizontal across the fingers and a big green adidas logo on it green and you can get the same desin in blue ...
