...My mum recently bought me these new shinpads and I instantly thought, "Sondico? MUM! Where's my Nike shinpads!" Now I'm glad she didn't buy the nike ones for a couple of reasons, I think these ones are far more comfatable. When I got these out of the pakaging I could already tell that these were going to be a really good pair of shinpads. They have rubber insides and rubber around the sharp plastic edges which will keep your shins well protected and really comfatable. They have an ankle guard already attached to protect your ankles from hard knocks and studs attached to them so these are ideal for football and hockey. They also look really cool, dark blue plastic with black rubber and a black ankle guard, or silver plastic with a black ankle guard. ...My experience of the Coolmax Shinguards is a little different from most people's as I never actually wear them for football because I don't play! Hopefully this review will still be useful though. My job involves moving a lot of heavy equipment, most of which is at shin level, and after painfully gashing my shins for the 1000th time I decided to protect them. I haven't been able to find any suitable industrial-type protective guards so I decided to try a pair of football shinguards instead. I have been through many shinguards trying to find a pair that provided sufficient protection but are also comfortable enough to wear for 18-20 hours at a time. ...The England squad is a very exciting one, amongst the dead woods, we have some great prospects. The likes of Gerrard, Dyer, Beckham and Owen have five or six good seasons ahead of them if not more. We have a lot of good players coming through, and I think we should stick with them. Ok, we ma have a few bad results but at the end we may be able to put together a team worthy enough to win tournaments. Eriksson is a good manager, whatever is nationality is we have to give him a chance. If he wins matches and tournaments I won’t care……..will you?. We must get rid off the older players and start with youth, However great the likes of Adam, Seaman were, we must move on. They will not be here in two or three years time.
