Advantages: Lightweight comfortable fast great handling Disadvantages: none
...After 20 years not riding, I decided to get back into cycling so I could teach my children how to ride. I bought a mountain bike and caught the cycling bug good and proper. I soon became addicted to cycling up and down the country lanes where we live and soon enough wanted something a little more sophisticated that would be better suited to hill climbs and rapid progress on the flat.
I read just about everything there was to read and opted for the Spesh Roubaix Comp. As a 42 year old, I have a normal amount of low back pain so the last thing I wanted was an Arse Up Head Down position that required the flexibility of a 20 year old. Also, I wanted something that could take care of vibration from those skinny high pressure tyres. The Roubaix is designed to handle both.
It is very fast and so much easier up the hills. The Comp...

...Awesome Bicycle.
Rigid frame that helps you put maximum power and torque at each stroke and very comfortable too. With Campagnolo Record group the combination is perfect. Slim and easy to handle, it is a fantastic bike for climbing but it's major quality is the flat road speed. Very durable! I have 12 thousand kilometers this year and the bike is like new (i have cahanged only the chain, tyres and sprokets).Highly recommended for performance riders. The price is pretty big but the quality and the satisfaction that offers will not dissapoint you. In conclusion it's a bike made for speed and competition. You don't need this bike for leisure but if you have enough money you can make your friends very envious, because that's a very beutiful and aggresive look bicycle....

Advantages: Fast, light, exceptional cornering, Disadvantages: Expensive, not the easiest tyres to fit
...Please bear in mind that since these are sold as out and out racing tyres that is exactly how I review them, if you want to ride to work every day in the wet or ride round the world and get 10000 miles out of a pair then look elsewhere!
The tyres come in several different colour versions and 20,23 & 25mm widths. (The 25mm are hard to come by) The different colours all having one compound in the center of the tyre for less rolling resistance and another on the edges that is softer for better cornering. I ride the 23mm width for training & racing and find them perfectly comfortable. They have a fairly low maximun PSI of 110, being on the low side probably adds to the comfort factor but check the pressure regulary so you don't run them too low. Being that I'm 6'1" tall and weigh 175 pounds you'll only need the 25mm tyres for Paris-Roubaix...
