Prevention of Anxiety & Depression in Children.
(Before you start reading this review - I will warn you that it is a long review, my longest to date, but if you can take on board what is about you will see that this programme can also help adults that find coping with life stressful and sometimes so difficult that they can suffer with depression).
This Primary Education Programme is something new to our school and the area.

Advantages: Vast range of stores Disadvantages: Some duplicate stores
This Review is for the Centre M.K which is a huge shopping centre in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
The shopping centre is managed in two parts, the first being the Centre MK and the second a place named Midsummer Place.
The actual opening date for the shopping centre was September 25th 1979 and has over 260 stores inside. This might have changed quite a lot since the current recession and stores shutting down.
This will be an insight to what the centre has to offer and what you can find there.

Layout
The centre is laid out extremely well. You walk in through a door which is numbered. This door is the way back to your car.

Advantages: Versatilty, price. Disadvantages: The pencil is a little too thin
This is the first handheld console I have ever owned. I'm 27 years old.
The main reason I purchased the DS was so I could play 'Brain Training Games' or other Educational games. I played on a friends and found it very entertaining, I figured that if I bought one myself I'd challenge myself mentally and wouldn't just sit around watching TV!
The best thing about the DS is the genre of games available for it, similar to the WII - Nintendo decided to target a different audience than the stereotypical gamers. I feel the succeeded in doing so. I read an article that a school had introduced the use of Nintendo DSs into children's mathematics lesson, with results of better learning and improved concentration. I am also a teacher and my children loved testing their knowledge on various maths games.
The feel of the DS is also very nice ...

This means that Summerhouse provides training for NVQ levels both at the Centre itself and at other yards within the local area. As an approved BHS Exam Centre, this enables you to take your BHS exams and Preliminary Instructors Certificate alongside your NVQ levels. We accept students from 16 years with no upward age limit - but funding is available for those between 16 to 25 years old. Training is available for NVQ Levels 1-3 and BHS Stage 1-4 and BHSI.
