Advantages: Top quality kit Disadvantages: Nothing at all
Being a mountain bike mad man I decided it was time to get a new bike. Shopping around for a bike these days gets complicated with the huge variety of bikes you can buy and for a wide price range.
Me being me I like the hard tail mountain bikes. That's a bike without rear suspension. If your on recreational cycling or after some sport competition then a hard tail is a good choice for a reasonable choice.

HOW MUCH and CHOOSING IT
Anyways, after much decision making I finally went for the Specialised Rockhopper Comp Disc 2007 bike. At £749 this for me is actually not a bad price bearing in mind you can get bikes for £4000 plus. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but its worth it for that little extra upgrade over the model below.

Advantages: The best of everything Disadvantages: special effects are dated
Doctor Who The Claws Of Axos is one of Jon Pertwees best episodes. It has a great story, a great monster and good special effects.

Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: they hardly work !
Dont waste your cash on these discs.
They are called Tuffdisc, I think it is more like tough-titty when you waste them recording stuff onto them !
Let me explain.
So far I have had little joy with these discs, using them on 3 dvd-burners, and the movies being played in 2 stand alone dvd players, also, they are pretty useless for holding operating systems that will boot PCs. Linux and BSD will install from them, slowly, but Windows, (XP and VIsta) just died.
They also make a lot of noise when you are playing them in a stand alone player, I dont know if this has any bearing on anything though.
The only thing I have used them successfully with, is archiving.
They are pretty resilient that way. I will use them for backing up my clients computers, but for day-to-day use, get something else. ...
