...That sinking feeling, do you know it, you soon will if you order this product. The sinking feeling when you open a box and see that you have wasted hundreds of pounds on the worst quality item you have ever seen.
Quality:
Black plastic covered in ill-fitting foam. The whole thing looks horrid.
Technology:
The "computer" is the size of a brick, looks like a brick and basically has the same functionality as a brick. You would find better and more useful functions in a £2.99 digital watch from a 1982 Argos catalogue.
Reliability:
Mine has gone wrong 3 times in 1 year. It is broken again - but I can't be bothered to send it back again. Each time it was the tilt switch. Tilt switch I hear you cry, read on.
The Gimmick:
Well, ignore all the negatives, because it sounds fun punching the lights out right? Wrong! The slam man...

...I bought this treadmill from Tesco Direct about two years ago and it is still going strong.
It sits beside my desk and folds upwards which is great for keeping it out of the way. It is then easily opened using a key on the side and the main belt drops down to the floor.
It has different speeds and also preset programmes which challenge your fitness by speeding up and slowing down at different times.
It is very sturdy and has an emergency cut out switch that you can attach to your clothes and a drinks holder.
The only thing I miss is the incline which you have to adjust manually when treadmill is off but for the money it is a great treadmill....

Advantages: Very bright light, long battery life, waterproof, easily detactable Disadvantages: Only 1 setting - on or off, no function to flash
...and is switched on and off by a magnetic switch. It looks great and although is bigger than others in the cateye range, it is perfect for anyone on the road at night. Plus, it can be used as a hand held torch at any time, if you're not on your bike. An amazingly bright light from just 1 LED - which also means battery life is very good....
