Well, I don't particuarlly enjoy reading, but I don't dislike it, however if I have the house to myself I love to have a nice warm bubble bath then pick up a good book!
I picked up this book the other day in Waterstones for around £5.99, although it was in the junior - young adult section I have heard nothing but good reviews about it!
The storyline is about racism and the way that blacks used to be inferior to the whites, but this time it is reversed in this revoloutionary book! Noughts and crosses gives you much of the information you need to know to understand the book, the blacks which are the dominant and powerful race are the crosses, while the whites which are little anad controlled by the crosses are the noughts.
But this story focuses on the life of two young people named Sephy and Callum, Sephu being a cross and Callum ...

with travel systems that tend to have bigger wheels. They also have absolutely no treds on them either, I had only walkd up the road and it looked as though the wheels had been all over the countryside they looked so suddenly worn and scuffed so this isn't exactly a selling point. You can buy new wheels though so if they do become too damaged you can replace them although I'm not sure of the cost.
Another downside though of this pushchair is that the brakes are a bit 'dodgy'. I THOUGHT they worked but then I realised when I was on the bus the other day that they actually don't work very well at all! The back wheels work off the one lever which you simply press down with your foot and the front wheels have two separate brakes- one each. The front brakes seem to work fine and are very good but the back one is hard to press down and then it doesn ...
Advantages: A nice mix of songs for any mood and great to sing to in the car/shower! Disadvantages: An album that I found difficult to get in to... despite being a Turin Brakes fan.
I bought this album along with their first album, The Optimist, a few months ago. I already had their second album, Ether Song, so I was very exited to have another two cd's at once! At first I preferred The Optimist over Jackinabox as it was more instantly likeable but three months down the line this is definitely the best album they have produced?. Here's why?.
Turin Brakes consist of Olly Knights, lead vocals and guitar and Gale Paridjanian, guitar and vocals.
